  Home was clean, with just a couple minor issues. Front door didn’t lock correctly, but wasn’t too worried with someone entering due to non-congested location. Also one cold area in the kitchen because of a drafty window. Management company was very attentive to having a person come out to turn on the basement fireplace when we had trouble doing so. Other than that, it’s a wonderful house with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms, large kitchen for a big group. Location was also convenient and close to the Highlands and Nubs for skiing. Having a garage to park 2 vehicles inside helped with loading/unloading, as well as not having a load of snow to clear

  We rented this home for an entire week. We had multiple family members staying, but at different intervals. We are a skiing family and the home is very close to Boyne Highlands and Nubs Nob. The size of the home was perfect and was wonderful to have to have 2 working fireplaces.
  Downfall was the kitchen was not well stocked with pans, serving bowls, etc. There was an 8 burner Viking stove, but only 3 small pans to cook with which makes it VERY challenging when cooking for a large group, making breakfasts, etc. I had wished all week I had brought a few pans with me. There were plenty of plates, forks, spoons etc.

  The house was nice. Needs a good carpet cleaning. Location was good. Booking arrangements were unacceptable in reference to host inquirey response times...if even there was a response. I suggest that when a property sleeps “10” assumptions shouldn’t be made that all beds are shared by couples or comfortable pairs. Maybe clearly define if there are any other sleeping options for guests (ie.; pull out couches, roll away bed, etc)
